Helpful Information for a Smooth Stay
We want your time at Buttercup Woodlands Campground to be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. This page gathers important details about reservations, policies, and guidelines so you can focus on what matters most — making memories with friends and family.
Rates
- RV Campsites: starting at $58/night. WEEK: starting at $350. Monthly Starting at $1100
- Rustic Cabins: $80/night plus tax. WEEK: $480 plus tax
- Camper Lodge: $125/night plus tax. WEEK: $750 plus tax
- Primitive Tent Site: $40/night. WEEK $240. MAX 7 nights per reservation
- Seasonal Campsite: $2500 plus metered electric
- Golf Carts $60/ night WEEK: $360 $60/night WEEK: $360
Season Dates & Check-In
Season dates expected to run from April 15th - October 15th.
- In-Season check-in begins at 1:00pm, check-out is 11:00am. If you are arriving before 1:00pm, a phone call with your arrival time is required. If you wish to check-out at a later time approval is needed from the office.
General Guidelines
To ensure everyone enjoys their stay, please keep these campground-wide guidelines in mind:
- Speed Limit: 5MPH throughout the entire campground.
- Quiet Hours: 11:00pm to 8:00am. Be respectful of your neighbors with 24 hour courtesy.
- Mail Delivery: Campers are not permitted to receive mail of any kind at the campground.
- Children & Bikes: All children under the age of 12 per Pennsylvania state law require a helmet to be worn while riding a bicycle, scooter, etc. No bicycle riding, rollerblading, skateboarding and or related activities should be done after dark.
- Nearest Dump Station: We do not have a dump station. The closest dump station is the Butler Area Sewer Authority 724-282-1978!
Golf Carts
Golf carts are welcome, with a few important safety rules:
- Golf Carts are able to be used from 8:00am to 11:00pm.
- You may not take your cart back to your site after 11:00pm for any reason!
- Licensed drivers only. Proof of insurance must be turned into the office before use.
- Electric carts only, no gas-powered carts.
- Carts must remain on campground roadways — not between sites, through playgrounds, or in wooded areas.
- No carts may leave campground property.
Campfires & Trees
- All campfires must be controlled inside a fire ring at all times.
- Do not destroy any trees to build a campfire!
- No lines, cables, strings, may be tied around trees.
- No nails, screws, bars, metal, plastic, etc objects are to be permanently fixed into a tree.
Pool Rules
Our swimming pool is one of the highlights of the campground. For everyone’s safety, please remember:
- No pushing, running, diving, or roughhousing.
- No food, glass, or alcohol in the pool area.
- No Cell Phones in the Pool
- Beach balls only.
- No Lifeguard on Duty. Pool Attendant on site to enforce standard pool rules.

- No Jumping from the Pool ladders
Visitor Policy
Visitors are always welcome, but they must check in at the office upon arrival.
- Day visitors: $5 per person.
- Overnight visitors: $8 per person flat rate.
- All visitors must register at the camp store upon arrival and pay fees accordingly.
- Visitors that are not spending the night must exit the park by 11:00 P.M.
- They will receive a car pass that must be displayed in the windshield.
- Visitors bringing pets to the campground are required to bring proof of rabies vaccinations.
- When they sign in they are required to give their license plate number.
Pet Policy
We love pets, but we ask that campers follow a few important guidelines:
- We ask that upon reservation we are notified of a pet camping along with you.
- All pets must be on a leash at all time.
- All pets must be cleaned up after.
- No pet is not left outside unattended. If you leave your site, pets must be put inside or taken along with you.
- Proof of rabies vaccinations are required at time of check in for all dogs.
- Pets are not allowed inside pavilions, pool area, and the camp store.
- Visitors are permitted to bring their dog with them but they are required to show proof of rabies vaccination.
- Pets are not permitted inside campground rentals.
Camp Site Deposit & Cancellation Policy
- All Reservations PAID IN FULL. Cancellations made 7 days or less of arrival date will not be refunded.
- A reservation must be cancelled seven (7) days prior to reservation check-in date.
- Cancelled reservations will receive a refund minus a $20.00 cancellation fee cancelled before 7 days..
- 3 night minimum on holiday weekends
- 2 night minimum on all rentals
Title 48
- Any camping families understands and acknowledges that campground is defined as a recreational campground under Title 48 of the Pennsylvania Lodging and Housing Law. As such I understand that this campground is not my permanent residence, I can be removed for anything within the campgrounds discretion and if I should abandon my property on the campground it will be towed away and or disposed of in a matter determined by the campground or law enforcement.
Other Notes
- Fireworks: Not permitted in the campground.
